Our seismic blend is called NexGuard™ and our proprietary blend is engineered to be a seismic safety and retrofit solution. It provides a mixture that excels in seismic safety and retrofit by being a civil-engineered reinforcement product that is easy to apply with common construction technologies, such as Shotcrete or even a traditional trowel.
NexGuard™ is cost-effective and a highly sustainable application related to seismic retrofit that offers an environmentally friendly spray-on concrete admixture. With nearly 600 times greater strain capacity, these materials are ideal for seismic strengthening of millions of masonry buildings around the world and for applications requiring extreme structural ductility.
In fact, as little as a 10-millimeter-thick (0.4 inch) layer of our NexGuardTM — trowled or sprayed on — is enough to reinforce existing interior walls & support structures, and ultimately, is able to withstand seismic events of 9.0+ on the Richter scale.
NexGuard™ has been specifically developed to be a net-zero product by systematically
using a waste stream product and then repurposing it as a core ingredient in a new
seismic safety and retrofit hard-tech product, to be used globally for a multitude of uses
