How can we help?
Hybridized synthetic micro-fiber blends of repurposed tire fiber, aid in secondary reinforcement and improved load/strain capacity of concrete. This additive is useful in applications such as blast & impact, shotcrete, piles & other foundations, and applications requiring large displacements.
Concrete has become the high-rise building material of choice because it's relatively cheap, easy to work with, long-lasting, and highly resistant to fire or explosions, unlike steel. It does have one inherent flaw, it's not great under tensile loads and requires heavy steel reinforcement to compensate for this component. However, AtlantisFiber™ provides an attractive option for certain pre-cast and cast-in-place applications by removing the need for costly — and labor-intensive — rebar based reinforcement.

In fact, in addition to cost savings and added strength, reducing the overall concrete-carbon-footprint is an additional AtlantisFiber™ benefit. While concrete manufacturing and delivery is around 7% of total worldwide greenhouse gas emissions, research shows that our economic & eco-friendly mixture has proven to reduce those emissions by up to 5%, while adding longevity and strength for pre-cast, cast-in-place, and even seismic-retrofitting projects.
